Epic Universal — Emily.Cruises

Epic Universal is my favorite park at Universal Studios Florida because it has How to Train Your Dragon Land (Isle of Berk). Alsoly it has Nintendo Land, Harry Potter Land, and Scary Monsters Land. I am not sure what the last park is called, but it has the scary monsters like Dracula and Frankenstein. It is spooky, even in the day time and I don’t like to go there.

How to Train Your Dragon Land (Isle of Berk)

How to Train your Dragon Land is my favorite part of Epic Universal even though it has a roller coaster. And I do not like roller coasters. My parents did get me on it once telling me I could see Toothless, but I didn’t. All I did was close my eyes and scream. I did not like the roller coaster at all and will never ride it again. I also do not ride the flying dragons ride because it is too high.

But it also has the Fyre Boats Ride, which is pretty fun but the best part is the Toothless Dragon show! This show is amazing as it has singing, and dancing, as well as Hiccup riding in on a real Toothless!

They have this giant playground that I spent most of my time playing in with lots of slides! My favorite! Mom would watch me while Dad rode Starcream Chasers…it’s some roller coaster. And I don’t like roller coasters. Then Dad came and watched me as Mom went and rode the Frankenstein Ride in Monsters land. Then we ate dinner at the Mead Hall!

Nintendo Land

Nintendo Land has two of my favorite rides in all of Universal: Mario Kart and Yoshi! Mario Cart is a fun dark ride where you wear 3D visors and shoot the evil Bowser. The line is awesome with theming my Mom says as they have lots of books with funny titles. But you can’t read the books. Which would make the long line go faster if you could. But they alsoly have an area with a news van!

Pizza Moon

We ate lunch at Pizza Moon. Well Dad and I did, Mom ate at the French place at Wizard Paris. They have huge pizzas so we just got a cheese pizza and shared for lunch! But the theming is cool. My Mom and Dad say its from an old movie. But I haven’t seen it yet. My Dad says they need to have some song called Smashing Pumpkins playing as you dine. But I don’t know what that is either!

Harry Potter Land

Merlin Statue Inside the Ministry of Magic

There are many things to do in this land. If you have a Magic Wand there are several places where you a make magical things happen around the land! They have the Battle of the Ministry ride which I was scared to go on. It looked like the Tower of Terror and my parents tricked me to go on that ride. But it only has one drop! So it is not so scary! The building is amazing to walk through because the lines are very long for this ride. Also there is a circus show you can attend and it makes for a great way to cool off in the middle of the summer! It is also a fun show with lots of magical creatures!

Scary Monsters Land

Finally we went to Scary Monsters Land. I did not ride anything here, but my Dad rode the roller coaster and my Mom went on the Frankenstein ride. Dad said the roller coaster was just okay. Mom said the Frankenstein ride is amazing with one of the best animatronics she has ever seen. The area looked spooky, especially at night. It was not my favorite land.

Celestrial Center

The center of the park has the hotel, many places to eat (including my favorite Pizza Moon), and a couple of rides. One is a roller coaster called Stardust Racers. I do not like roller coasters and I will never go on it. My Dad says its the best ride in the park. But I will ride the Carousel! It scared me the first time because it does not look like a normal carousel. It doesn’t have the top, the rods only connect at the bottom! But I did ride the three person clamshell with a horse and the ride was not that scary! I have ridden it many times sense, but one time it did break down just before the park closed. So I had to ride it three times our next visit!
